Jonathan Costello   Voice & Piano

img_0930Jonathan Costello is 25 years old and currently completing his degree in Music Education at Worcester State University. Jonathan has not only studied, but he has been “immersed” in music throughout his entire life. He has studied voice, piano, and guitar, and he is currently Director of The Children’s Choir at Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford, Massachusetts, as well as serving as Cantor.

Jonathan has studied a broad range of vocal repertoire including early through contemporary sacred music, secular works from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Neo-Classical periods, and a vast collection drawn from early to contemporary Broadway. While experienced in many styles of vocal performance, the role of ‘Broadway’s Leading Man’ is by far his favorite.

He has performed both nationally and internationally in cities including Boston, New York, Washington, DC, Chicago, and Orlando, as well as Rome, Venice, Munich, Salzburg, Barcelona, Scotland, and Sicily.  Jonathan’s earlier musical theater performances include productions of South Pacific, Guys and Dolls, AIDA, and RENT, and most recently he has appeared in productions of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and SHREK.
